The girls, who have consistently ignored their county’s “safer-at-home” coronavirus guidelines, went to a house party at Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s Beverly Hills place, reportedly for their friend Justine Skye’s birthday last night, according to the photo agency. Kylie and Kendall did not wear masks as they departed their vehicles, despite California’s mandate that residents wear masks outdoors, especially in public places where they can’t keep six feet apart from other people whom they are not quarantining with, along with indoors when spending time with people not in their household. They were shot by paparazzi though, all dolled up and flouting the policy. Kendall even gave a thumbs up.
Before arriving, Kylie posted Instagram Stories of her glam team putting her look together. Baldwin also shared a photo of herself post-her glam team’s work. No one appeared to be wearing masks correctly or at all in Kylie’s Instagram Stories.
On Friday, Baldwin and Kendall hit the beach together at the Kardashian-Jenner’s Malibu beach house. They ignored California’s mask mandate again, opting to not wear masks. Maybe they got tested for COVID-19 ahead of their hangout, which would mitigate their personal risk a little; maybe it was a private beach. But still, the rules apply since Kendall and Baldwin are not quarantining together. California writes on its mask policy page, “You should wear a mask or face covering whenever you’ll be around someone you don’t live with, including: In any indoor public space…[and] outdoors, if you can’t stay 6 feet away from others.”
Kylie and Kendall will sometimes wear masks when out, but not consistently. The sisters’ biggest infraction came earlier this month when they broke California’s non-essential travel ban to go to Turks and Caicos to celebrate Kylie’s birthday. California’s current guidance says, “You can travel for urgent matters or if such travel is essential to your permitted work. Even though businesses around the state are opening up, avoid traveling long distances for vacations or pleasure as much as possible. This is to slow the spread of the coronavirus.” Turks and Caicos is an over nine hour flight from Los Angeles.
