After a dramatic first-round victory over Tranmere, EFL newcomers Harrogate Town have been rewarded with a visit to Premier League side West Brom.
The draw for the third round, when top-flight teams who have qualified for Europe enter the competition, was also made and, should Harrogate Town progress, they will host Southampton or Brentford.
The winner of the second-round tie between League Two Bradford and League One Lincoln will be at home to Premier League champions Liverpool.
Manchester City, winners in the past three seasons, will be at home to either Bournemouth or Crystal Palace in the third round.
Luton or Reading will host Manchester United in round three, while Tottenham will play Leyton Orient or Plymouth.
